As I said before, we were offline for one month and during that time, unfortunately, all our data was lost. When we got back online I didn't have time to work on site mostly because of school but, I am on holiday now so I am working on getting all data back. Thanks to Hugo and Cardogram, in 2-3 we have added more than 6 GB of media into our site! The files are hosted on our servers and half of them are already added in our Downloads section, which you can access by navigating Media -> Downloads. But, in order to download all the files you need to register - registration is free and by registering you're becoming a member of a biggest AVA Empire ever, and you'll have access to download the media, participiate on forums, comment on news and many, many more that's coming during the summer! We're still uploading files that are missing and of course we are adding them into our Downloads section. So, hurry, register and head to Downloads section and grab the files, from rare appearances to interviews and miscelaneous videos, you don't have. It's free! Register Here Downloads |

It's shaping up to be a very busy week for former Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge. On the upside, he just celebrated the debut of a documentary DVD chronicling his transition from the seminal teen punk act Blink-182 to his current band, Angels & Airwaves [ tickets ].Released earlier this week, the film, entitled "Start the Machine," focuses on the process of producing Angels & Airwaves' first project, "We Don't Need to Whisper." Delonge is also on the cusp of heading out for a summerlong jaunt headlining Van's Warped Tour, which commences June 20 in Pomona, CA.
On the down side, DeLonge has reaffirmed news that all Blink fans hated to hear--there will be no reunion. And he's made a few headlines in the UK defending his cohorts in My Chemical Romance after a flurry in the press about a 13-year-old British girl, who was a devotee of MCR and other Emo acts, committed suicide in 2007.
In a widely circulated statement in the UK press, the singer is quoted as saying that although band members may tend to blame themselves in situations like this high profile suicide, it's wrong to do so when there is no direct fan-to-band connection.
"You have no idea who these people are," DeLonge said. "And My Chemical Romance, they spend a lot of time singing about coming together. There's ingredients of rebellion and angst, but what band doesn't have that when they're young?" Click on Read More button to read the rest of the interview, or click the Source link. Source |

Saturday evening, Ryan, Kevin, David and I went down to Encinitas to one of the historic theaters to watch the premier of the Angels and Airwaves documentary called Start The Machine. We got there about an hour and a half early, stood in line, had some fun, went in, watched the movie, sat through a little Q&A with the band and then headed out. I really liked the movie. David and Kevin had mentioned that they had seen most of the parts through their website, but it was now all put together for a movie. Anyway, if you don't know much about Angels and Airwaves, Tom DeLonge (one of the guys from Blink 182) started it once Blink broke up. They are still rockin' and rollin'. Below are some pictures from the Q&A setcion after they showed the film. The pictures aren't the best quality, but you get the idea (we were sitting in the back of the theater and it was hard to focus the pictures).

Trace William Cowen sent us an e-mail about AVA show. He wrote up a review/observation on hismy trip to Nashville to see AVA on Saturday and posted it to DrivenFarOff.com. Here's the begining of the review, and if you want to read everything, click on Read More or here. I recommend you to read it, it's a great article/review!!
Mathematically, I had to do it. Angels & Airwaves, free show (the annual Journey’s Backyard BBQ), three-hour drive to Nashville, so-so shopping mall – it made too much sense to ignore. So, after a quick Waffle House breakfast (honestly, the atmosphere alone can fill your stomach) perfectly complimented with four cups of coffee, I turned my girlfriend’s Camry gently in the direction of Nashville…well, Franklin, Tennessee. Thankfully, I kept a mildly detailed mental journal of the day ahead and will do my absolute best to transcribe it here.
